OUR CURRICULUM
Angel's Landing uses the Highscope curriculum, a research based curriculum which recognizes the value of child initiated active learning. Aligning with the PA State Early Learning Standards, learning focuses on the following content areas;
*Approaches to learning
*Social and emotional development
*Physical development and health
*Language, literacy and communication
*Mathematics
*Creative Arts
*Science and technology
*Social studies
The Highscope methods such as 'morning message", "small group time", "large group time" and "child initiated play" help to promote independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity and problem solving.
Teachers will facilitate learning with intentionally planned activities that provide a variety of materials and choices.
The Ounce Scale and Work Sampling systems will be used for ongoing assessment and to enable teachers to assure the success of each individual child.

Building A Foundation
A child is never too young to learn about God, His love for us and the many wonderful stories that show
us what God is like and how He
wants us to live.
By teaching bible truths, children develop a genuine love for God
and His Word, building a strong spiritual foundation that leads to a relationship with God.
As children grow older, it is important to link the bible truths to their everyday lives so they may know how far, how wide, how deep and how high is the relentless love of God!
